Hot Coming Attractions

Game developers from all over the world have been upping the ante of gaming graphics and plots in recent years. For everyone who remembers Qbert, Pong and Pac-Man, you’re probably amazed every time you see one of today’s modern marvels posing as a mere videogame. And there’s one factor that a lot of gaming fans can agree one: the best games to play are free games!

While gambling online might set you back a pretty penny if you’re of the irresponsible ilk, simply gaming online can be enjoyment personified, risk-free and captivating. The newest FPS coming down the pike is Hopeless 2: Mercenary Camp. Not only is the game free, but it’s graphically sound and extremely advanced for a browser-based FPS multi-player operating on Shockwave.

Hopeless 2 is from the brilliant mind behind the Necromanthus gaming line. Necro games are free, fun and well-developed in comparison to the Internet’s other options. This Romanian-based development brand is following up on Hopeless Episode One: The Prison by incorporating the fast-paced, shoot-‘em-up action of Stryke: Mercenary Camp (also developed by Necromanthus) into the storyline.

The first beta is set to be released in less than a month, with the full version available only a few short months after that. Testers are currently hard at work going through the multiple map levels, exploring the character features, and testing out the premier weapons that Necro has installed in this FPS frag-fest, including an updated AK-47, G-3, Winchester rifle, and M-40 sniper rifle, and even a Stringer missile launcher!

The genius behind the game is in the community-like appeal brought to vivid life by the superior graphical design of the players, weapons, surroundings and even sound. WoW or other multi-player games take you through a fantasy world where imagination is needed. Hopeless 2 will offer a multi-player (8 players per camp) environment where the game provides the excitement for you.

Also on the things-to-do list for Necromanthus’ newest release is to develop a forum for the game, where players can meet and greet, form teams, participate in tournaments, and even help to improve game-play by offering up their own suggestions to the game’s developer.

Hopeless II is bringing the best of all worlds with the new Mercenary Camp release. You have your first-person shooting, your multi-player community and, best of all, 100% free access to a game that rivals home console shooters.
