RULERS SOFTWARE HISTORY
Beginning with an idea like so many young hopefuls, Joel Huenink and
brothers Rick and Nick set out to make their mark in the gaming industry
in 1997 by forming 4D Rulers Software, Inc. By already owning a local ISP
and advertising agency, the Hueninks had developed strong graphics experience
and business management skills, and a successful business track record
which helped secure funding for their first game project "Gore". Hiring
local and out of area mod authors, the team was assembled by mid 1998.
4D Rulers has survived the highs and lows of a first title development,
now with the combined efforts of programming expertise from Australian
based Eyecon and Texan Based Slam Software we are now at our most exciting
time, nearing public demo release and having a product which has everyone
involved excited and brimming with anticipation. The Nebraskan company,
based in Beatrice has set its sights high with their first release going
right for the jugular of the PC gaming industry, the first person shooter.
Each member of the team is obssessed with the industry, eating and sleeping
games, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm to create a game made by gamers
for gamers.
